Cracked base warranty?

Hey Everyone,

I was looking at replacing my gasket today and took a look at the back side of my egg and noticed a huge Crack running the whole length of the base. It starts from under the egg and goes all the way to the tOp under the gasket. Since my egg does not move out of the table, would this be covered under warranty? Anyone had experience with this?

    If you bought it new, registered it and have the receipt. Should not be a problem.

    As long as you bought it from an authorized dealer it's covered for life. I had mine replaced a few years back. The dome is the only original part left from my first egg. All warranty (except the bands which I replaced this year).
