I would like to try the Rockwood lump charcoal but not sure I want buy 4 bags of it to hit the $100 free shipping from Firecraft. Anyone in the Virginia Beach area interested in splitting the order with me?

I'm in hampton roads. new to BGE.

From the reviews I have read it is one of the best out there. I have only tried BGE brand so far and only have about 1/4 of a bag left. It's roughly the same price as BGE so figured it was worth trying.

I was the same. So I bought one bag of RW and two ozark oak. Shipping was ten bucks. Comes out just about $13.5 for ten pounds. Then I will buy $100 to get free shipping from fire craft.com

I'm about an hour south of you. If you use any amount of lump at all, this is well worth it. If you can't find anybody to go in with you, I'll help you out and pick up a couple bags.

Well I put them out on the patio with an unopened bag of WG jakes blend. Finishing up the weekend warrior bag. Good stuff, just nobody here sells it. I've been cooking on the egg everyday for over a week to try out the new stuff. Will let you guys know for sure. I guess if the MM would use more lump I would find out.
