-15 burger cook

It was minus 15 last night plus the windchill bringing it closer to -30.  I refuse to let the winter slow me down.  Load up my classic joe the equivalent of a large BGE.  I cooked at 375 and put the burgers around the outer edge of the grill for the first 20 min.  I used one piece of apple wood for a light smoke flavour.  Used a chuck roast and had it double ground.

Made 4 stuffed 8oz burgers with mushroom and old cheddar and 4 6oz flat patties for the kids.  Added my home made burger essence to the burgers and let them go.

Served them with a buddies apps.  Macaroni balls and egg roll stuffed potato skins. 

Some say its not good for me but I like some pink in my burgers.
