Margarita style chicken and cherry pepper poppers

Wife wanted more margarita style chicken breast, so I marinated some up last night with simple marinade (canola, EVOO, red wine vin., balsamic vin., lemon juice, lemon zest, fresh garlic, oregano, parsley). Finished with fresh mozzarella and tomato (only on mine). Made some rice pilaf and then added green beans to the lineup.
Cherry pepper poppers was something similar I do on the oven. However, on the oven I coated with panko and shallow fry. On the Egg, I only did sausage.
Starting on the peppers
Stuffed with cream cheese....
Surround with sausage (I use Neeses)
On the Egg they go... Placed them near the rim for a non-direct type of cook.
They're done!!!!
Chicken is shaping up nicely!
Added the mozzarella and tomatoes....
Upclose and personal....
Plated, but forgot the fork :(
Wife made oatmeal/cinnamon/brown sugar raisin cookies...
These things are GOOD!
Thanks for taking a look!

Cherry pepper poppers wrapped in sausage! That's a keeper. Can you share your marinate recipe? It sounds terrific.

Wow and wow! The poppers and chix look amazing. I've got a big sweet tooth, so cookies and milk would be the perfect cap to a meal like that.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.
