Getting better at Pizza

In honor of Valentines Day we attempted to replicate our favorite pizza from Pizza Man in Milwaukee WI. The wind chill was -12 here but it was plenty warm around the egg. Our favorite is topped with Brussels sprouts, meatballs and cream cheese. It paired nicely (well everything does) with a New Glarus Spotted Cow ale.

Very nice. You Blanche the sprouts and halve them? Meat balls home made or store bought?

Thanks! I halved the sprouts and baked them in a cast iron skillet with evoo, salt and pepper. Due to time constraints I used store bought meatballs and nuked them in the microwave.Lg & MM BGE, Humphrey’s Battle Box | Palatine, Illinois

I have never thought about using brussel sprout on a pizza. Eventhough its basic food in out kitchen. Will try it out on the next pizza night. Thanks for the inspiration
