Swing rack for XL?

Does anyone know if anyone makes a swing rack for the XL? I have the AR from CGS and while I know from all the posts here that it is a great piece of equipment, I just can't use it successfully for multi-layered cooking. I'm sure it's just operator error and my own clumsiness. I'm hoping there may be someone at Salado who can help me learn....but a swing rack would sure be nice is one exists.

A lot of people have these and love them.

I'm pretty sure big green Craig has one. Maybe he can give you a reviewLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

It's stout. This thing is plenty sturdy for whatever you can throw at it. It seasons and sears like cast iron too. It also has plenty of height adjustability. Works well with the normal ceramic plate setter or the cast iron plate setter.

What problem with the AR are you having?

It's your money but I would practice on the AR and save that money. AR is more versatile IMOColumbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

Ok back on TRACK here... No experience w/ the AR, but I do have a XL 2 tier swing rack from CGW. My XL certainly does suffer from warping at high temps. I know I know, folks here are going to say you shouldn't use it for high heat cooks. In fact, I've never had a problem with direct cooks. When it warps, it always goes back flat as it cools. The problem I had was with higher temp indirect cooks. On the last indirect cook, the perimeter of the grate that was exposed to direct heat (i.e., not shielded by the platesetter) warped and caused the shaft to jam in the coupling. If you can get over the warping issues, it's a decent product.Ajax, ON Canada(XL BGE, MED BGE, La Caja China #2, and the wife's Napoleon gasser)

Oh darlin' and you do you what I mean when I call someone "darlin" , yes? The original racks my equipment came with are as firm and functional as ever. It's the after market upgrades that are disappointing.XL, JR, and more accessories than anyone would ever need near Olympia, WA

) @PNWFoodie you're a gamer Sandy. You're a perfect fit for here girl. And this is why I prefer natural OEM on my racks. When it gets too hot the fabricated stuff can droop and sag. The originals hold up nicely.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
