Egged turkey tastes like oven turkey washed down with Kirkland Beer

Well..... I left the turkey in the egg while I went Ice golfing. Came back 4-5 hours later and now it tastes like oven turkey. Dried out turkey with some injected flavored butter. It's almost gone but it was dry. Good thing I bought a 48 pack of Kirkland beer for tonight.

14lb spatchcocked turkey cooked direct and raised takes me 75 to 90 mins.
Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.
