One of my old buddies has a restaurant/seafood store in Virginia Beach(Dockside Inn). He is sending fresh crabcakes Monday to arrive Tues. I've never had crabcakes--he said to put them in the broiler but I'm going to try them on the egg. Don't remember seeing any recipes on this forum for crabcakes. Any ideas? Thx (4 to 5 inches X 1 inch thick)

Mad Max has a great crab cake recipe on the Dizzy Pig web site. Try these and I guarentee you will not be sorry.[p]

Nature Boy,
Do you have some instructions on how to make those things? My neighbor went bonkers when he saw the photo. I'll see what I can do to duplicate them for him.[p]Spring "Good Neighbor" Chicken

Spring Chicken,[p]Yes he does - on his website. I have made them twice now with rave reviews each time. I buy the 1 pound can at costco - the refrigerated can of lump crab meat. Next time I might just buy the dungenous crabs and try again.[p]Ed

Chef Wil,
Is there a way I could possibly beg you to part with that recipe? My wife's a surgeon that can actually cook decent and I have a few dogs that I could part with.
