Had the wife pick up Papa Murphys premade pizzas to cook on the BGE. She shows up with a appetizer pizza ring, a lg pepperoni and lg meat lovers and a dessert pizza. Fired up the BGE to 500 and started throwin them on. I used a pampered chef stone (oh no) at 500F. Turned out pretty good!!
Beer was Robert Earl Keen honey pilsner from Pedernales brewing in Fredricksburg. Very smooth!

only a matter of time. BTW it won't likely crack, it will explode. Hope your not hungry when it does, or have the lid up looking at it. Good luck. -

If it blows and I survive and we're really hungry, we'll go out.

Thought it was a good trial run to build up to "from scratch" pies. Crispy crust, hint of smoke. All in all not bad for prebought stuff.___________________________________________________________________________________Ft. Worth, Tx | Union Pacific Railroad | Texas Tech University

Great to know take and bakes work good, I still need to do a pizza , never have yet. I figured I would get a Papa Murphys as well. Did you ask if they will sell a ready to go dough only? That would be cool.

@anton not sure if they do sell just the dough but dont know why they wouldnt. They come in paper type baking pans. I couldnt get the pizzas worked out of them raw but after about 2-3 minutes in the egg i slid them out directly onto the stone to crisp the crust.___________________________________________________________________________________Ft. @CowtownEgger, sweet, thanks for the tip, I have a 13'' stone for my medium egg, a Brinkmann from Home Depot, it was hella cheap and says 500-600F rating, think I paid around $13.00 for it, couldn't pass it up.
:-bd @bo_mull, thanks for the confirmation, yesss!!
