Very cool of you to drop everything and hang with him. Nice improve as well.

The best plan is not to plan. Just wing it. That could be tomorrows cook

Looks like a blast - the best part of having a MiniMax is the chance to buy all the toys you never bothered to get for your Large."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Yeah John, I've been using the weed burner at home, never need to change gears but damn this mapp torch is better, less sparks too. If the ace hardware in town would've had a thermapop, It'd been mine too.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Good friends are hard to find, good job man. The joke I use a lot at work now at this age is, "careful man, I don't want you to fall and break a hip"!

So, uh.. I am about an hour north from Charlotte, and my toe hurts... how about some chops?Jeremiah said:So an old friend calls and says he broke his hip. Your hip? Damn man you're getting old! I say. So I'm up here in Charlotte for the weekend hanging out with him. At the last second I grabbed the minimax. Good choice. Although then I realized an hour into the drive that I neglected the thermapen, a way to light it, and that sliding topper thingy. Did a quick stop at lowes for a mapp torch: crap that thing is cool. Gonna wing the temp, and I guess I'll use some alum foil to rig a top tomorrow. Tonight we did pork chops: holy frigging crap, best chops to date. Just plowboys, and Everglades. Tomorrow were doing a little Chuckie...with one peice of oak, and apple. (Was planning ribs) well see...

Friggen awesome friend! Fantastic looking grub Jeremiah. The MAPP torch works nicely I like to barely get the twisting flame out at first because the lump sparks less. After it gets lit I let her rip to really get it going. "That sliding topper thingy" ) Have fun and I hope your buddy is doing better. At least we know he's eating good. :-bdLBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I can't use map on my xl. It's to deep and I have to turn the tank on end to much. Use chimney starter or looflighter. Couldn't take looflighter back. Lost receipt oh well. It works and I've pissed away more money on other crap I may never use. Hell a wedding ring rings a bell )

A friend in need... Stellar.
And that's some good grub too. I've found that some of my better cooks are the ones less planned or that I thought were going haywire.
