Am traveling to Dallas today and want some good brisket. Won't be in town until ~1....do I have time to get over to the lodge for lunch?!

Never gone that late because they usually start running out of stuff around 11:30 or noon. However I have heard that things may be a little different at the new location. If you want almost the same quality with a sure chance of getting food go to Lockhart in the Bishop Arts District.

Enjoy...my standard order is 1/2 lb of fatty brisket and a jalepeno link. They also sometimes have habanero Mac and cheese which is awesome.

Linch bbq was good, now I'm trying to figure out how to ship a usda prime brisket home. Costco has them, and Florida doesn't!!!

I think Tom Thumb and Central market usually sell dry ice.

@texaswig I live 10 minutes away, and honestly wouldn't go out of my way to go back...IT IS GOOD, don't get me wrong....BUT what we can get off the BGE is just as good.Except my brisket. My brisket sucks dirty camel balls.
