Reminded me a little bit of Guinness and a little of Yuengling Black & Tan. But, it had its own thing going on. I liked it a lot.Jeremiah said:Awesome on all accounts. What was the beer like?

Nice meat and bean stew. I'm sorry it took you this long to experience Oskar Blues. Best beer
out of a can! -
Chili was... 5# or so of brisket point, diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, jalapenos, sliced mushrooms, chili beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, navy beans, cayenne, black pepper and salt. Slow cooked in DO indirect 250℉ several hours. Brisket melted in your mouth.

As always the grub and pics look outstanding brother husker. For using beans in the chili as is proper, on behalf of myself and @Mickey (a bean advocate himself):
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Oskarblues.... Great brewery.... It's local for me....I prefer dales pale ale
-
Old chub is great I haven't had an Oskar blues I didn't like
-
@SGH Thanks man! Apparently I missed the memo on how controversial beans can be. We always had beans in our chili and it was always spicy. Without beans I'm with @theyolksonyou and @anton I can't remember ever having chili growing up w/out beans and a lot of meat. I guess it comes down to personal preferences in the end.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
