New Years Day Pork Butt

Cooking a pork butt for new years day dinner.  It's a cold windy sunny day in NE Ohio today.  Put on 2 butts ~8# each last night at 9:00 pm, Indirect with pan dome set at 250.  Bottom damper ended up about 1/2" and top damper started out at 3/4 of a petal.  Made minor adjustments this morning, bottom now open about 3/4" and top a full petal.  Already smells great.  Let's hope the Bama players partied hard last night and pork gives OSU some luck tonight.
