I buy the frozen Italian meatballs at the grocery store wrap them in bacon and cook them at 250-275 indirect for 45 minutes. Then I put bbq sauce on them for another 45 minutes.

I agree with @Grillin_beers‌. I use Italian meatballs also.

1/2 oz meatball is a common size/weight and a good match size wise for a half strip of bacon. If you're making your own fresh meatball cook it until the IT is 160 (or whatever temp you're comfortable with and the bacon is crisp enough for you).
