Hello everyone,
I acquired a medium BGE a few years ago and have lurked here off and on since that time. I've already learned a great deal from you guys and figured it was time to step in and introduce myself.
I live in the Lexington area of SC.
Cooking is a hobby of mine and I am reasonably proficient at grilling, but I am still working on my low and slows. I've done scores of butts, but I've only attempted one brisket so far, and, well...it was mostly edible (that's the best I can say about it).
I look forward to learning more and hopefully making a contribution at some point. Thanks for having me.

@10_42bbq, welcome fellow medium owner, I too am in Mexifornia, NorCal. I just worked in Monterey the other day, stopped in Gilroy for garlic and chokes, also had the deep fried ones from Pezzini farms fruit stand, homesick yet? Nice to have you with us.

Will do. I think Santa (aka "wife") is bringing me a BBQ Guru controller. I will be anxious to use it as soon as I can after Xmas. I'll be sure to post up a cook or two for input/feedback.
