This weekend I lost a friend and colleague, Madhu Satyanarayana, much too early. He passed away from a heart attack at only 33, leaving behind his wife and two young daughters.
Madhu introduced me to the Big Green Egg, and convinced me to get one. And while he was not active on this forum, to memorialize him I wanted to share a few pictures of his cooks, including the Thanksgiving turkey he did on the Egg a couple of days before his death.
Sadly it takes tragic events like these to remind us how fragile life is. It also reminds us we need to hug our loved ones a little tighter and a lot more often.
RIP Madhu.

33 is waaaayyy too young. Tough loss and certainly puts much in perspective.
You can see it on his face though as to how much he loved the Big Green Egg. And, the enjoyment he got out of it for the short time he had one on this earth is something awesome that his friends and family can remember him by.

Sorry to hear of his passing, especially at such a young age. It's devastating to say the least. If that is him in the pic above, he looked very psychically fit. Just shows that you really never know. Again my heart felt condolences my friend.
