My turducken turned out great, despite finishing two hours early, and my horribly inadequate craving skills.

I foiled and wrapped in a blanket; it was still warm 2.5 hours later, and plenty moist. Skin wasn't soggy which I feared after foiling.

No carved photos...it fell into pieces as I attempted to carve it.

Smoked it indirect at 250 for bout four hours with just a little cherry.

CPARKTX , carving a Turducken can be difficult. The best way I found to carve is to first slice them in 1/2 from head to tail. Next place each 1/2, dressing side down, on the cutting board. Now simply slice from top to bottom, back to breast,  whatever thickness you would like. This works for me and gets the 3 layers of meat for about 75%of the bird.
Good luck on your next one.

Looks like a winner to me. We use to cook turdukens pretty regular. Haven't done one lately though. Again yours looks great and Happy Thanksgiving.
