Double Smoked Ham -- How Long to Smoke?

Options
OK folks --- I've got a 8lb ham and will be giving it the double smoke tomorrow.  How long do you think from start to finish --- 4 hours?  Got my maple bourbon glaze ready to go.  http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/189118/maple-bourbon-twice-smoked-ham

I did one today. After 4 hrs it was 165 degrees inside. This was at 325 degrees dome temp and it was a spiral cut ham. I would check it at 3.5 hours. Hard to mess it up though.

Normally takes about 20 minutes per pound @ 325-350 on a pre-cooked or pre-smoked ham.

so how long per pound at 250?

although, being an engineer, I guess I should be able to work an equation to figure that out

OK, if my math is right, I'm thinking if 20 min/lb is correct for an initial meat temp of 40F in a 350F oven going to 145 final internal temp, then at 250 BGE temp, it should take 35 minutes/lb to go from 40F in the fridge to 145F final temp.

Assumptions made were 5 time constants to reach thermal equilibrium.
so going from 40F to 145F in 350 F environment takes 0.4 time constants
Then it takes 40F to 145F in 250 F environment takes 0.7 time constants.
so 20 min per lb becomes 35 minutes per pound.
