Chili w/Brisket

I was just reading the Chili post and wondered if anyone has replaced hamburger with brisket. Sat. night I put a packer cut brisket on my large egg at 5:30 PM indirect at 11 PM I wrapped it. 8:30 AM Sunday pulled brisket off, wrapped in towels and let rest in cooler. Came home from church and started to slice. It was so moist and tender it was falling apart. I went a head a just pulled it like pulled pork. It was excellent. I was thinking it would be wonderful in Chili.

Thought I might try sometime.

    I don't see why it wouldn't work after all I think tacos with shredded beef are a lot better than the ones with ground beef. What you think?? Mik

    I put some of the brisket in the freezer, I will have to try it in the next batch of chili. It's been a warm Jan. in Missouri and doesn't feel much like chili weather.

    I wish I could make it up to your part of the world. The NAA (National Auctioneers Assoc.) is having their winter seminar in Anchorage the end of Feb.
