My office caters in lunch periodically for meetings and what not. I noticed 3 good-sized aluminum pans sitting in the trash just now. I thought "I bet those things will fit under a grate"and then I grabbed them!
Straddling the boundary between cheap and frugal? Perhaps. But at least I ain't paying for drip pans for a few cooks!

I probably saved myself 4 or 5 bucks given the size of them. I just thought it was funny because the ONLY reason noticed them is because I'm an egger. Other than that, I wouldn't have caredLubbock, TXLarge BGE

I could only wish it was .98 to go 6 miles in the truck. Try 4.02 to travel 6 miles. Now maybe ya all know why freight cost are so high.1 XXL BGE, 1 LG BGE, 2 MED. BGE, 1 MINI BGE, 1 Peoria custom cooker Meat Monster.Clinton, Iowa -
When we have frozen items that come in the foil containers, I get them washed and take them home, Havent paid for one since I started eggin.

I meant your profit after expenses. I was told owner/operators make about .50 a mile.Jeremiah said:

Grandma used to say "Watch the nickels and dimes and the dollars will look after themselves". Just think at close to $1 each you only need another 250 lunches/meetings and you can buy a new Mini-Max!Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Now line them with aluminum foil and you'll get even longer life from them!

I've been washing mine out, but by the 4th time, they get a little thin for my liking. Will leave them on the top of my recycling bin if anyone wants them. It's a 302 thing . . .

@Jeremiah i don't know what others make but i do not haul cheap freight. I am kind of lucky with the run i do from iowa to north and south Carolina and back each week and my truck is paid for and it is for the most part problem free. Just got another 4 year contract with them to boot.1 XXL BGE, 1 LG BGE, 2 MED. BGE, 1 MINI BGE, 1 Peoria custom cooker Meat Monster.Clinton, Iowa
