Tried a different spin tonight. And yes I'm using up items we already have to make room for Thanksgiving groceries
Layered. 4 LG sliced sweet potatoes, 2 thickly chopped Vidalia onions, 3 cloves garlic minced, 2 bratwurst while frozen thickly sliced, 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, turkey bacon (don't knock it lol) and 6 eggs with 1/4 cup half & half and folded. First sprayed CI pan with lite canola. First layer sweet potatoes, next some sliced brats, onion w/ garlic, Sweet potatoes, sliced brats, onion w/ garlic, 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, bacon weave on top and finally slowly pour egg mixture evenly over entire dish.
MM stabilized at 400℉ with PS legs up. Later bumped to 450℉ to crisp up top a little better. Took roughly 1 hr.
Completed and Plated.

What makes you think someone would "knock" the turkey bacon? Looks good man. If we ever have a "layered" throwdown I'm sure you will win.

If I had the day off for the game tomorrow that would be the inspiration to what I would cook for the early kick off. Looks outstanding.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

My original thought while reading this was WTF??? But I have to say it looks good. My favorite part of cooking is throwing caution to the wind and seeing what happens. To this day my family's favorite dish was one of these experiments. Very nice job.Fish, Hunt, Cook....anything else?
