Thanksgiving side dishes

So what do you serve with your Turkey?  I've tried adding a variety of side dishes, but due to excess of leftovers over the years, I have toned it down.

I feel my meal is almost too basic, but all I'm doing for sides is:

Stuffing
Mashed taters
green bean bake
corn
homemade bread
gravy
can o' cranberries
garden salad

& then pies for dessert

I'm interested in seeing what others make.

Dude, buy a bag of fresh cranberries and boil them in water and sugar with some lemon. Dead easy and so much better.

I don't like cranberries, but I have tried making fresh cranberries for my guests.  I didn't see a significant change in the amount of cranberries people ate, so I've adopted the open the can for 2 people that want it, to then throw away the 90% of the can that is left over.  They seem content with the mass of jelly out of the can.

Making cranberry sauce with cranberries and OJ with a little cinnamon or nutmeg is WAY better than the stuff out of the can.  You need to make it a day in advance and let it sit overnight in the fridge.

My wife makes a badass cranberry salad with apples, pecans, fresh cranberries, and other stuff. It is congealed in (I think) cherry Jello. It is awesome and there are never any leftovers.
