Too dark for egg pics but the meal turned out great. Cooked on the small @ 425 indirect and rubbed with BBBR and Jamacian Firewalk. Great Como for pork!!

    I am a little jelly of all the batching time you have been getting.  

    Cooks looks great man!  I love black eye peas.  A friend of mine sent me a recipe yeterday for a black eye pea dip.  He said it was pretty awesome.

    It's the time of year where she has to get her CPA continued education in. So she gets her education on and I get my egg on. It's all good!!

    Started the egg and set vent for 425ish and once it hit 325 it was burning clean so on goes the meat to soak up the hickory smoke. After about 30 mins it was at 425 and they probed tended at 90mins.

    Thanks! I was hoping for a faster cook, though deep inside I knew better. 20 years ago a younger, childless me wanted nothing more than a long leisurely cook and eating at 9. Now it seems like it's all I can do to get dinner on the table before bedtime. Definitely in the books for a weekend cook!
