My Mistress' Illegitimate Child's Maiden Voyage

My wife calls our LBGE my mistress. So, rather fitting the Max has been dubbed the illegitimate child.
Picked him up on Thursday.

Loaded up with leftover RW from his Mom and one chunk of oak.

Very nice @NPHuskerFL‌. Looks like you lost a considerable amount of prep space. Any plans for a SS platform for the MM?

    Neat cook.

I saw one Thursday at our local BGE pusher dealer.  Went in the back office to pay off some of my debt and he had one set up.   My first thought was that it was a neat toy!  You certainly made that idea seem foolish.

    Thanks everybody.
@stemc33‌ as of now I'm trying to decide on a second smaller SS table with casters or just a larger cover for the existing table. Leaning toward the 2nd table because I really like having the prep area. But, it'll have to wait for a bit.
@Jeremiah‌ thanks for the Cabernet Sauvignon tip. It worked very nicely and added great flavor.
@SGH‌ thoughts on MM. It was well worth the wait. It holds a steady L&S with no issue and will get crazy hot with some quickness when ya need it. It'll be nice to have the extra space and dual temps for larger cooks and gatherings. Solid cooker IMHO.

@NPHuskerFL‌- Thank you for your thoughts and input on the MM brother husker. Thus far, the folks that have them seem to really like them. Sounds like BGE got it right. On yours as we'll as others favorable input, I am purchasing a MM as well. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts my friend.

Very very nice. The last shot of the meat on the egg is beautiful.

I vote for a second table, since you will have a mobile option then.

I had bought a new cover. It half a$$ fit but, then my BGE cover does me no good. Returning new cover as we speak and looking at a small SS prep/MM egg table. Here's the one I'm eyeballing. Thoughts?

Sam's and Costco have a bunch, but I don't think the bottom shelves and sometimes the legs are ss - only the top is. So it may not last that long outdoors. Check Craigslist - you should be able to find all kinds of commercial grade ss tables.

@caliking‌ checked CL first and eBay. Nothing impressive and most of everything I have available to me is as large if not larger than my existing table. The one I pictured would be ideal as I'm only looking for small table for the MM alone and it's accessories. The MM will then get rolled inside to the lanai after usage. The big table will remain outside with its cover. Make sense?
