Just curious, have you tried? And if so, what did you use for a cooking grid? Yours looks rather clean.
And for the record, I'm jealous. But not $70 jealous. ;)

I would ask my employer if they minded you installing a ceiling vent/fan.  This way you could cook while you work and everybody wins!!

@Mud Pig- Brother if they ever made the mistake of letting me have a mini on my desk, my office would smell like Franklins BBQ. I could not resist, I would fire that bad boy up right there on the desk and get to cooking. Just saying.........
@SGH, you should get a mold of one of your units to put on your desk.....

@JRWhitee‌ I'm digging that little desk egg but I'm with @DMW on the price. I'd probably buy one for $40 though.

I brought this up to one of my co-workers who likes to BBQ as well.  We both came to the conclusion that it would inspire us to find a legal place around our office building to do lunch time cooks maybe once a month.  This may have to happen.

Both of the ceramic desktop Eggs we have are now spoken for.  The correct retails on these discontinued units was $49.99.  I misspoke earlier thinking they were $69.99.  Good to see these novelty items going to good homes.
