Honest may have been a bit strong. You are right. But some posters were posting like they were getting the run around, when they are trying to pay $6-700 for a small cooker.Crimsongator said:What exactly has been dishonest from BGE?
Now I wondering with the drop of the mini max is now the discontinuance of the 2 cookers (small and mini)

I got my call. 3-330 they will have them. Looks like dinner on the mini max tonight.

I have specifically talked with BGE marketing about the mini and small. They were clear in saying there are NO plans to discontinue those eggs. -

If I were a dealer, would I want to carry the mini, minimax, and small? Why would I recommend a small or mini over a minimax?
I don't have any of these products, and maybe there's a compelling reason for all to exist, but I don't see enough price or feature difference to justify all three.Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle -

It is a fantastic little cooker. It has the capacity of the small but more portable with the integrated nest. Two competition teams used it in Lynchburg at The Jack and it was extensively used at Eggtoberfest. Got one, you will like it!

Congrats to the proud new parents. Glad to hear these can be found at a good price here in the homeland.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

For all the crap he stirs about how BGE corporate sucks, I am waiting for RRP to come out and accept that BGE was correct saying these would be available to distributors on 11/1. It took 4 days to get to the first dealer.....not too shabby unicorn boy!

Three in the same day......outstanding

@Crimsongator just to be fair BGE originally said June. Also they weren't available 11/1 they just showed up today. Just finished putting mine together and it feels solid and looks awesome. I don't like that the grate doesn't lock into the fire ring it can just slide around. That's the whole reason I got rid of my medium. Carrier is pretty cool.
-
Explain the grate comment. All my grates can slide around. Not sure what you mean.
-
Look at that AWESOME box!
No wonder it took so long
Gittin' there... -
I just went to pick my wife up and the truck in front of me had a mini max in the bed. Gotta be someone on here.
