    The only part of my ballot I worried about was the local school board since I have kids that will be entering the school system in the next 4 years.

    @Eggcelsior. ..there are things like common core and lunch programs that are determined by Washington.

    Our country is going to hades in a hand basket and it's both major parties fault.

    Vote for any 3rd party candidate that strikes your fancy, only then can "we the people" gain our country back.

    I voted for Doug Ose for my congressman, but he's just a scumbag weasel of a Republican, but not having a Libertarian to vote for, he is better than the Obama Yes Man, Ami Bera.  Ose claims to live in whatever district he thinks he can get elected in, but he's a scumbag politician.  how can he represent me when he doesn't have a clue who is constituents really are.

    Uh... There are around 56 reported instances with the state board of elections. All people that had issues were able to correct their votes. This is as of 2 hours ago in The State and The Baltimore Sun. Also, the voting machines are made by Diebold, a major Republican donor.

And far more importantly IMHO many Uniformed Men & Women fought hard & many died just so you dumb asses would have the right to vote. Nothing irritates me more then for somebody to **** and moan of what a politician is doing wrong but, yet didn't elect to use their right to vote. Okay I'm out!

    @henapple so what? The local board picks the textbooks and other source material. Common Core is small potatoes. I fully support the lunch program. I went to school with kids that only had it as their primary daily nutrition(white, farming families). It is the main reason I try to source all my food locally so my money goes right into their pockets.

    While it is a right; to vote, it should be looked at as a privilege... Men and women have died protecting our freedom to do so. There are many countries where people trying to vote are threatened and killed trying to get to the polls, and countries where they don't even have access to the internet to be able argue back and forth about their different beliefs...

    I hear people all the time bringing up how we need term limits... We have term limits, it's just that nobody chooses to use them, their called voting booths
