Saw someone post this and wanted to give it a try. The 6lbs was frozen solid, 325 degrees a little over 4 hours got me to 160.

Looks good. So much for bringing it to room temp before cooking.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. And it's flawed.- Camp Hill, PA

The bird looks like a home run to me. Excellent job =D>
For the record: Brother Nola is a advocate of frozen cooking. He really opened my eyes on the subject. Again excellent cook brother Skinny.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Just replaced my gasket and need a low and slow to set it! Ideal cook for me! Thanks SkinnyV for the idea! Your skin looks great by the way!

Sliced it up, not the easiest slice as it broke apart easily. Taste was good and very moist.
1 thing is this was 6lb before cooking I only got 2.5 lbs (taste before weighing) of sliced meat. I know these are injected a bit but man, $9.99 lb from the deli is not so bad I guess.
