Saturday Steaks... Filets From Sams

After a long and very unproductive morning of mostly driving, interrupted by at times dangerous walking conditions and occasional picture taking, I would up at Sam's Club before coming home...
While picking up some other stuff; walked past the meat case and saw a package of 4 house brand Choice filets. They looked nice, well marbled for Choice, so I picked them up to do later with a big salad for dinner...

Any good shots? I picked a poor spot trying to get a covered bridge in the foreground but wound up shooting up a slope to get the sky, so I couldn't get the most expansive shots. I'm going to have to mess with the RAW files to try and correct under exposed/overexposed areas.

Photography is one of the best hobbies/professions to undertake IMHO. That's a skill you will have until you return to the dirt. Nice shots. Just being out there I'm sure was worth it.Fish, Hunt, Cook....anything else?

I'm going to head out again tomorrow and try to catch a waterfall or rapids. I'll have to hike into Cunningham Falls on the downlow. I'll try to get sunrise over the lake and then hoof it the mile to the falls to get low light water shots. There is nothing better than sunrise shots with the solitude involved in standing in the dark and watching the sky.

Nice shots Hap! Did you try cropping so the water is either in the far-right or far-left? I'd throw a little more contrast in and jack-up the exposure a little for giggles and grins!

A Sony RX100 and my "real" gear is a Sony A700 that I use with a few legacy( read old) Minolta lenses ;-) I have a few filters including a Lee Big Stopper, love it...MSV Chill Spot
