I have been wanting to try this again, we really enjoyed it, the crust was a bit tough but I will keep working on that. I had previously frozen the dough ball, that may have been a factor?

I find that freezing the dough makes it more supple and easy to work with.Carolina Q says the dough recipe at Forno Bravo is very good.Judy in San Diego

That is the recipe for dough that I used. It did handle nicer than fresh ( less spring ). There are so many variables, it didn't seem to rise a lot after it came out of the freezer. I will stay the course and try to nail it. Fresh mozzarella and basil really make a difference. I also use San marzano tomatoes smashed up with some basil, garlic and fresh ground pepper.
