First breakfast on the egg... Pancakes on the baking steel!

so I was up pretty early today and was browsing through the forum and it made me want to cook on the egg. So I thought I never did breakfast on the eggs so why not do pancakes today!I heated up the baking steel and tested out a batch and they turned out better than stove top. plenty of space on the steel makes for a flipping friendly cook. I'll probably throw some bacon on next.

Looks good. I cooked some bacon on mine the other day. It was really good. But egg was already heated up from me cooking burgers. I just dont know if I'd fire up my egg for pancakes unless I was off camping or something. Did they taste any different than when cooking indoors?

I didn't get pics of the bacon as I was focused on preventing grease from dripping into the coals. Turned out pretty good. Pancakes, bacon, and a latte.

They tasted the same. No extra taste or nothing, but having room on the steel was really nice so I'd do it again if I had lots of pancakes to do. The countertop came with the house and I like it a lot, but I do take them for granite.
