Sometimes ignoring a problem makes it go away, yeah, right.  We are supposedly less than ONE MONTH away from MiniMax delivery.

The sportsbooks in Vegas could have a field day with this one.  I would wager that Nov 1 will NOT materialize as a delivery date.

    Who told you less than a month? The manager at their retail store told me hopefully 8 weeks the other day and added there's no exact date.

    I'll take odds on that one.  My dealer told me just last week that it was set for Black Friday.  She still didn't have her pricing info on it either.

    It's still not on the dealer price sheet.
    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

    I've heard this too but it's on all of their marketing materials now, including the picture on the website of all the egg sizes.  Doesn't make sense to me to market a product that they don't sell yet and no one knows when it will come out.  My dealer was hoping early November and I was considering waiting on it but when she told me they didn't have any pricing info on it yet and reading the multiple posts and "updates" (best guesses) I gave up and pulled the trigger on a Mini and have been very happy with it.

    was at the local dealer (El Paso, TX) a few minutes ago to pick up a few things.  Asked about the MM, he said he's tried to order 2 for other people already and his supplier can't seem to give him any kind of date whatsoever.

    I was going to get a mini-max when I first heard about them, found a new mini for $200 instead. I probably would've gotten a Joe Jr at this point if I hadn't gotten the mini. Does anyone even know the price yet?

    This seems way odd that they marketed the MiniMax so long ago and it still isn't at the dealers.
    My guess is they are experiencing manufacturing issues.

    Or design issues.
    When I'm not Eggin', I'm scootin'   Eggin' and 'cueing from Temecula Ca; an hour from San Diego, an hour and five minutes from Palm Springs, and an hour and a half from Los Angeles (yeah, right. With THAT traffic?)

    I want one for a trip to the beach in November for Thanksgiving.  So I am giving BGE until then.  If the mini max doesn't show by then I guess I am going with a KJ JR or Primo JR.

    I am asking for three to give away at the Salado EggFest March 14th. Have always gave away 4 Minis so if they are out I see no problem. Let's see what they see........

    A dealer told me "by the end of the year." Sounds like a convenient way to stop people from buying a competitor. He also said to expect smalls and minis to be marked down when they're discontinued.

    well, I received a call today from a local bbq store.  the message said, "you told us to call you when we knew more about the MiniMax...it looks like they'll be delivering within the next couple of weeks so if you're still in the market, the price is $649 and that includes the double handle-nest combo, so, if you're still in the market, give me a call..."


    Huh? I thought they were $598?

    Dealer I was at yesterday told me $594 and that includes the plate setter. He said he was still expecting to get his beginning of November but he only has 12 coming and they will be gone that morning.

    Yep so the clerk at the mother ship had no clue as my dealer told me yesterday 2nd or 3rd week in November.
    The distributor should have them around November 1st then his order the next week or after. He only ordered 2 and both are sold already. On a positive note though is 1 of the 2 is mine. :D

    @badinfluence the clerk knew what he was talking about. Remember he told me they would be available late November which is what the 3rd week of November is right? I called the retail store after I left the dealer and the manager answered and said what your dealer said they will be available mid to late Novemeber which is not Nov.1st. It does not take 2-3 weeks to ship them so they will not be at the distributors on Nov.1. I even asked the manager if I live local will they be available for pickup the beginning of November and he said no which tells you they are not going to be at the distributor or the local stores would have them for sale then.
