Something seems to be up with this. I emailed the seller to ask for a receipt and they said it was lost a long time ago but you can tell thats th eplastic handle that wasn't made very long and it was like less than a year ago.

So, I guess $500 for a no warranty egg is still okay. ? If I could go inspect it locally, I'd probably buy it.
It doesn't seem to come with anything extra other than the stand, a pizza stone and a bag of charcoal. Looks like everything else laid out is just standard fire box, ring, grate, etc.
LBGE/Maryland -
Looks like it has a nice set of mates (shelves)

I think it's a Medium.I have a L with side-tables. These side tables appear much larger in proportion to the Egg.New Albany, Ohio

@THEBuckeye those are the new shelves that are bigger. Look closer they have 3 wood planks not 2. They are nice. That package is $1200 at my local butcher.

Look at the nest. It is a large. The medium nest has single metal down the legs -

johnkitchens $770 for a never been cooked on is an OK price on the west coast but when it had a "buy it now" price of $500 it would have been a deal IMHO.

500 bucks with no warranty is not a good deal in my opinion. If you use your egg a LOT, somethin is ganna break or crack.

I might buy a no warranty one for $500, but I probably wouldn't. I think for a couple of hundred more you can get a new one with a lifetime warranty.Louisville, GA - 2 Large BGE's -
I picked up a used L for a friend last week for $340
-
@Crimsongator I would definitely buy a used one for $340!Louisville, GA - 2 Large BGE's

We drove as fast as we could the next morning to pick it up.

I bought a used small for 300. Probably overpaid but i can justify 300 bucks. Ive probably gotten that much use from it. Now 500 bucks is a different story. Thats too much coin to drop to not have some kinda warranty. I'd have to either consider putting up a little more money and getting a new large or even medium or settling for a small.
