Blues Hog sauce on ribs is to die for, the rub not so much. Never tried Killer hog so don't know.Be WellKnoxville TN

I like both Blues and Killer Hogs products. A word of caution. The products sold by brother Reed are excellent products. That being said they leave a reddish "hue" or color if you will on the end product. This does not hurt anything at all. I mention this only because some folks who have never seen it are taken back by it at first. Again both are excellent products.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
Status- Standing by.

Since nobody has said it yet...blues hog is SWEET. it's like molasses. I only use it on chicken to make sticky-icky wings. If you don't like super sweet sauce, carefulKeepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

I love Hogs Blue Sauce. Anyone ever try Cashmans?

BH Original is too sweet by itself for my tastes so I cut it with some other sauce that isn't so sweet (BH Red works well for this). I find the BH Smokey Mountain is fine as is. I'm in the middle of a bottle of the BH rub and while it isn't bad it isn't doing anything special for me and I won't buy it again.XL, Large, Small, Mini Eggs, Shirley Fabrication 24x36 Patio, Humphrey's Weekender, Karubecue C-60, MAK 1-Star General, Hasty Bake Gourmet, Santa Maria Grill, Webers: 14" WSM, 22.5" OTG, 22.5" Kettle Premium, WGA Charcoal, Summit S-620 NG

I like the killer hogs rub and bbq sauce. The sauce is one of those sauces that need to be "set" on the meat. It's a little sweet is it doesn't haven't a chance to set on your protein.XL BGEJoe JRBaltimore, MD

I like Blues Hog, but it tastes funny by itself. When I got it I tried a little and didn't like it, but when I put some on pulled pork yuuuuuuum!Louisville, GA - 2 Large BGE's

The only problem with Blues Hog is that it's barbecue sauce flavored salt.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

I don't remember the last time I had the original straight. Always open a bottle of the original and a bottle of the red and marry them. Alao the honey mustard is probably the best I have ever had. Any north Georgia people Fergusons meat market carries blues hog.

Love Blues Hog! Top 2 or 3 in my book

@dldawes1 I always use BBBR on my butts, but never tried it on ribs. Was worried about it being a little too salty.
