Looks yummy. Is that brown sugar on top under the bacon? If so, I have never done that before.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

@Ladeback69 . I use Texas BBQ rub (original) on these. Txbbqrub.com. I think it does have some brown sugar in it.Dave - Austin, TX -

Looks great. Meat loaf is one of my favs off of the egg. Set it and forget it.
@Terrabendit Where did you get the screens you cooked it on. I had a few from Mrs. Popsicle, but can not find any in the DFW area.

Looks fantastic! Two questions: how long and what temp? And have you tried this with varying types of ground beef? My wife will eat meatloaf but is picky about where the beef comes from - we get a CSA share but don't want to use that for meatloaf if you won't taste the difference in the finished product. It's an obsession, but it's pleasin'

@Hotch I picked it up at HEB. It costs $ 0.97. I sprayed it with a little veggie oil to keep it from sticking. It still stuck a little but beats the heck out of spending 20 bucks on a wire basket.Dave - Austin, TX -
