It's funny you should ask. I was just starting to plan for it. Here's what Im thinking. jambalaya cooked in dutch oven on my LgBGE the day before and some jalapeno cornbread. Then we'll have a whole bunch of pork boudin and crawfish boudin on my med.BGE and six slabs of babybacks on the large. My wife will handle the potato salad and the must have cannolis for desert. Plus whatever the guests bring.
    * I do this year round down here. There is no season.

Making 2 slabs of spareribs.  Egg season is 365 here also.  I don't care that I might have to get through a foot or two of snow to get to it.  LOL

    Brisket Egg Rolls
Individual Top your own mini pizzas

    Main:
Smoking a 8.5# chuckie for pulled beef
2 slabs of beef plate ribs

    Sides:

    Some kind of Corn Dish
    Others that guests are bringing

Not sure yet.  This is my last weekend that we will have time to do a long cook (3+ hours) so I want to make it good.  Kids sports start up next week and say goodbye to free time.  I'll be lucky to use the Egg once a month if at all after this weekend.

Could end up being a couple of pork butts or similar for freezing for future meals but I also want something REALLY good.

I shovel whatever snow falls on the deck first! There isn't any "season" for grilling in my house!

We have family over on Sunday and will be doing a pork butt with grilled corn salad. Guest are bringing along some sides.

Not sure about Monday yet. If I can handle the hours I might try my first brisket overnight on Sunday into Monday.

17.4 lb prime brisket for me.  I don't have high hopes though as my brisket generally just turns out OK.  I am gonna keep at it though.

I just dont have the time.  The cold is not the end of the world to stop egging - Just dont have 2 consecutive hours to use it.  10 more years and maybe I'll have my time back.

My weekend is starting Thurday this year and hope to egg every day.

Thursday: having people over for the kickoff of college football season. Going to do Moink balls, wings, and abts. Maybe some pig shots as well.

Friday: Dino Ribs. My inlaws are stopping in on their way to the beach. I'm thinking of doing some corn on the cobb and some grilled okra for sides.

Saturday: Some really nice waygu steaks I ordered for my wife's birthday.

Sunday: I'll probably do some chicken breasts for sandwiches for lunch time. Then I'll throw a butt on the grill for Monday.

Monday: Boston butt and more apps. Haven't gotten that far yet.

As far as a grilling season goes, it never gets below 40 degrees here. I'm 365!

OK, my menu has been revised. Total in attendance is now 34. We did a trial run of small pizzas tonight and everything went well, but it became readily apparent that this would take way to long to have an assembly station setup for folks to top their own.

So my neighbor will bring a few pans of focaccia and we will cut it into appetizer size pieces.

The S'more cones worked great however, they remain on the menu.

The natives have spoken: 48-hour Sous Vide beef ribs, pulled pork nachos to start. Hoping for some pizza thrown in to make it a junk food kinda weekend.

It is a Bayou Classic Chicken Leg/Wing rack. It looks like it is discontinued. Amazon still has it, but the price is crazy. There are other similar ones out there.

Im up early this morning getting the CyberQ and the egg dialed in at 225 for my spareribs. Two racks, one with Bad Byron's, the other with a new rub I picked up recently, Curtis Grills Apple Wood Rub. The Curtis rub smells awesome. Got a large chunk of apple wood in the middle of a load of Ozark Oak, plate setter on foiled and the ribs in a rack. Time to relax with some coffee and start enjoying the day off. Eats are planned for around 1300. Got burgers and sausage going on a little later. Busting out my new dutch oven for some peach cobbler too, using the BGE recipe. Pics soon.
