Just a shout out to @Nature Boy who took Grand Champion at Summerfest in New Holland, PA.
I stopped by Friday and chatted with Chris briefly while he was having lunch. Today I stopped by with my family and picked up some Dizzy Pig rubs I had run out of.
For those of you who don't know, Dizzy Pig has a competition team that only uses Big Green Eggs. Summerfest is one of the state championship events in PA and its kind of a big deal in the Mid Atlantic area.

Thanks very much DMW! Cool that you stopped by, and good talking to you! Very special weekend indeed, and it still has not sunk in yet that we just won 2 big contests in a row. The EGGs cooked flawlessly all weekend. This was our 13th year at New Holland cooking on EGGs (New Holland was our first contest) and the best we have done is 4th. Pretty stoked, but also totally beat. Thanks again y'all for the kind words!Chris

Congrats @Nature Boy.
Just curious on your technique for moving and setting up the eggs. Do you use pot lifter straps or some kind of equipment? I often see posts about people wanting to know the best way to move their BGE's. Also, do you travel with the guts in the eggs?Steven

Howdy Stemc.Yep, guts in. We have done approx 125 contests with 5 or 6 EGGs. We strap them into a trailer, with the flat part of the hinge against the wall. It is only about 1 foot off the ground to lift the EGGs, and we have no problem lifting them in with 2 people. The medium and small, which are my chicken cookers, ride in the back of my pickup strapped down without the nests. Amazing how much they have traveled, and I have not yet….knocking on wood…broken any!Cheers, and have a great night!Chris
