I like using pecan with lamb but have used a little oak before and it was good.

For lamb in order if preference.
    Pecan
    50/50 pecan & oak
    Oak.
    50/50 pecan & apple
    Just my preferences my friend.
Pecan is a tough act to follow on lamb.

Thank you all. They cook so fast that I wound up by throwing a chunk of Apple and oak on the fire 10 mins at 500 direct they were 130 deg. Had a taxakiti on side. Thank you, they were really good.
