First Attempt at Chicken Wings

Decided that I wanted to try out smoking some chicken wings. I wanted to try using a beer brine on the chicken wings.
I did two batches.
The first batch I did in a normal brine (kosher salt, sugar, peppercorns, garlic, and some lemon), and rubbed it with a house made blend (usual suspects: kosher salt, turbino sugar, garlic powder, cayenne, chipotle, brown sugar, paprika, cumin etc.).
The second batch I tried mixing the same brine with a KCCO Black Lager (about 3/4 beer and 1/4 brine, with added salt and sugar) and tweaked my normal house rub to include some chocolate powder and a hint of cinnamon.

Rain can't ruin a cook once I've committed to it.

Put the wings on indirect at 350 for 45 min with some applewood smoking.

Pulled the wings off and removed the platesetter and put them back on and opened her up to get the wings nice and crispy. Let them go for another 5 min a side.
