My SWMBO has a thing for auctions. She just sent me a flyer that has an egg listed in a "cart". The image is what I could pull off the auction website. Auction company thinks it is a Large, but they aren't sure. Anyone got a guess? What do you think it is worth? I already have a large, but wouldn't mind another one if I could pick it up for the right price. Don't know what accessories are with it, but looks like maybe the platesetter is on the shelf on the bottom. Yes, I understand the warranty won't transfer with it.

With the table I wouldn't go more than 5 bills on it. I've picked up a couple used large eggs from Craigslist. First one I bought was $200 and the second one was $300. Anything pass $500 is usually within a few hundred dollars of a demo priced egg with a warranty"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. looks like a medium to me. ask for a measurement at the opening to be 100% sure!

It's hard to say for sure but I think that is a large. I'm judging by the handle and the dome thermometer for scale. I agree with Dave I would ask for a measurement- they could just open it up and measure the grid. I'm thinking $500 or less as well.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

It looks a large to me. The warranty issue has always scared me away from a used egg unless I got a very sweet deal.Louisville, GA - 2 Large BGE's

I would not go $500. My cracked base would've almost cost that if it had not been under warranty.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN
