American Grilled

Has anyone else been watching American Grilled on the Travel Channel? They go to different places in America and they start with 4 chefs that cook food from their home area. Tonight they are in Virginia. One the guys uses Promo's at home and another is a chef and he uses the BGE at home. Check it out, it's like Chopped on the Food Networking.

    I watched it last night. I wasn't too impressed. By the looks of things and the expertise that resides here, I'd say the folks here could teach them a lesson or two.

    We DVR everything we watch. We don't like commercials. It's interesting that they make them use gas on the first cook. I got rid of mine and I don't miss it.

    All in all, it wasn't that good, IMO. 

    Frankly, the most entertaining part was toward the end when the rather porcine judge batted her heavy eyelids and described the steak as "the sexiest piece of meat I've ever seen."
