BGEs and salty environments

Just wondering if anyone has any advice regarding the durability of BGEs in a salty environment. Have a house in Hatteras, NC and am currently replacing grills about every two years. I know the ceramic would be ok but what about metal bands and hinge?

They are powered coated so the hardware will start going first, then the bands, I suppose.

I wenr on a fishing trip out of gulf shores and almost all the boats there had an egg on them. So I assume they do ok...
