    Man that sucks. I live in a safe place in a cul de sac but until we have a fence I have all my eggs in the garage. I have left it out a couple times while we are at the pool but that's when they are hot so it would be tough to steal. Something I noticed on our house hunt I saw numerous listings with no fence and eggs in the back yard photos. There's a listing in my neighborhood now with a large in a nest with no fence. I am also down to pitch in if a someone gets it together.

    Every time I see this post I get irate all over again. Young man I wish you could have caught that piece of trash and broke his thieving arms. I despise I thief. The good Lord says to forgive and forget. That being said my hatred of thieves may prevent me from entering the Kingdom. Hard for me to tolerate or forgive a thief.

    Sorry for your loss.  One of the reasons I moved to the side of a mountain with no one around for miles and a padlocked gate.  I lived in an a townhouse community for years where no one spoke to one another and the association was a pain.  They demanded that I cover a wall air conditionar because it did not meet association guidelines.  I purchased a rather expensive large cactus plant to do the job.  The next day it was gone.

    Along the same line, the landscape company the association hired parked their truck at the front of the town homes. The door to the trailer which contained thousands of dollars in equipment was padlocked.  When the owner/manager. returned to the vehicle he found the padlock cut and all of his equipment and his lively hood gone.  Who wants to live in an environment like that?

    I'm guessing this was in a neighborhood that has no backyard fences?  At least based on the news report, that is what my assumption is.  I figure my egg is pretty secure in my backyard as I keep my fence gates padlocked.
