    I got a smokew are cap to try...i don't see what all the hype is about. Don't get me wrong it's nice but i still like the daisy wheel

    The Smokeware cap is a sleeper - it's nice for several reasons.  First of course is that you don't need to use 2 caps - 1 to cook, and 1 for shutdown.  Don't need to worry about having the ceramic cap fall off and break.  Smokeware stays on all the time.  I was a little concerned about shutting down with the Smokeware cap.  After a few cooks, it gets pretty well sealed, and shutdown is about the same as with ceramic.  Don't need to worry about DFMT top changing position when the egg is opened.  For those in rainy climes, obvious advantage...  Relatively inexpensive - about a tenth of a Q-unit (1 Q-unit = $300).
