HuskerMaMa's Birthday (pic heavy)

Options
For my wife. This was by far the best meal to date I've made and thankfully I was able to share it with my lady.
Bought fresh caught Grouper (today's catch out of Mayport Beach). Decided to make it CI skillet blackened with some fresh homemade Mango Salsa and asparagus.
The "cake" I made with avocados, plum tomatoes, yellow & red bell peppers and red onions (this to keep in the dietary lifestyle).

    Nice job!

It doesn't get much better than fresh grouper.  That's a seriously good fish.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Where is this Jax? Very nice! I don't have a boat brotha so when we go it tends to be at St Augustine Pier, Vilano Pier, Crescent Beach, Mayport Jetties, etc. That's a nice catch!

I've only been doing it for about 10 years, but did way too much. Lol. Used to work for one of the local tackle shops and fished ALOT.

@Carolina Q‌ Michael it's all good. 43 is young and this nite was all about her and celebrating all that she is and means to me. (For real B-) ). I wanted this to be a very special and romantic dinner and by researching this forum and taking some time in preparing everything I think I was able to do just that. My main goal was putting her in a pure sense of awe and oral sensory ecstasy (not at all trying to be nasty). There are meals that are great and then those you remember for many many years. The food is just part of it you also have to have presentation (a stage so to speak). I wanted absolute perfection after all she's my wife. :-)
