Doing a whole hog cook next weekend and want to have some South Carolina style mustard-based BBQ sauce on hand.

I've used this one before and really like it.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauceIn a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. Make at least 24 hours prior to usage for best flavor. I've tried a few over the years and this is my favorite to date. I found it at bigdaddyskitchen.com I personally don't add the liquid smoke to the sauce since I'm adding smoke during the cook.
1 cup prepared yellow mustard ½ cup sugar ¼ cup light brown sugar ¾ cup cider vinegar ¼ cup water 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon white pepper ¼ teaspoon cayenne ½ teaspoon soy sauce 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon liquid smoke (hickory flavoring) Mix all except soy, butter and smoke. Simmer 30 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 more minutes. Vinegar taste may be very strong until completely cooled. Refrigerating overnight is best and allows flavors to blend.
Add a few drops of Louisiana Hot Sauce at the end if additional heat is desired.
