Get the largest size Bush beans. Drain the juice and add diced onion, bell pepper and your favorite bbq sauce. Mix thoroughly and bake (bacon or pulled pork is extra). You will like it

Agree with @Crimsongator on that one. My dad does those and people rant and rave about it. He goes diced green onions, brown sugar or molasses and mustard, then chops up jimmy dean links into it. I bet he has been doing those for 30 years and still are awesome.

RED CABBAGE RELISH
BARD FARMS, CRUMPLER, NC
2 Quart Red Cabbage—cored & shredded
3 Whole red onions—sliced
3 Whole large bell peppers—chopped
1 pint Apple Cider Vinegar
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon Celery seeds
1 tablespoon Yellow mustard
Combine red cabbage, onions and bell peppers in large ceramic bowl. Bring vinegar & sugar to a boil, remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover and chill overnight.
Then simply ENJOY.
