<p />it sure makes a great snack with a cold brew. The big problem with Jerky is that by the time the samples have been sampled, the end result reduces by about 1/4.[p]I think Old Dave is on to something here - started with the "River City Beef Jerky" recipe and replaced the Molasses with maple syrup - I was going to make his 'sorghum' variety, but couldn't find the 'sorghum' - I also forgot to add the brown sugar - sometime this next week I'll post an update to the "River City Beef Jerky" recipe - but it's almost a different recipe - maybe we'll change the name![p]Good Stuff!
