Before we left Houston, we stopped at Costco to pick up a couple briskets. $3.59# for Prime vs $3.39# for choice. You know what I got!!! 
We got the apartment situated and made all the selections for the new house. I have never spent so much money in one day. Damn you upgrades!!! :P

@cazzy dammit man! I just left Sams and "USDA Choice" whole packers were at $3.59per# (they looked good but, still not Prime). That's a great buy. Or buy(s) as it were. I was hungry when I went to Sams. I went there for some green bananas and a case of Yuengling. Walked out with 2 monster packs of baby backs, several whole chickens, a nice floppy thick brisket flat, green bananas and a case of Yuengling. Yep never had problem with cheap briskets here in houston. Picked up $1.99 choice or something like that sometime last year.

I did a CAB choice packer last weekend that ran me $5.25/lb. Choice is $3.79/lb.
CAB was from a meat distributor and choice from smart and final. My Costco doesn't sell brisket and Sam's only sells flats.

Relax Pete, it's just the thread title I used to get interaction in my thread. Does it deserve a more positive title? I don't know yet...I'll answer that in 4 years. I know it has some big shoes to fill coming from San Antonio.
