Good to be home!

I have been on the road for 10 days eating mostly chain restaurant food so it was a nice to get a BGE meal...

Welcome home. I know the feeling. In the past six weeks, I've only been home a few week days and a few weekends. Egged every day I was home except one or two when it was raining hard.

Little Dorothy said it best my friend: "There's no place like home". No truer words have ever been spoken. Glad you are home safe my friend. Enjoy your home time.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

    Welcome home, GMagic.

If I may, a coupla quick questions:

1>  How and why did you corral your lump to one side of your Egg?

B>  What the heck are those oval things just south of the ribs?

    (Keep it clean! :)) )

    Thanks -

That's the XL Ang-L- Bracket from the nice folks at Ceramic Grill Store, they work great for indirect and direct at the same time and those little fellas in front are Yucon Gold potatoes sliced through about 75% and EVOO and sea salt and pepper.

You need to add some cheese and bacon to those Hasselback potatoes. Load them up.

    THANKS @GrillMagic.

I just checked.  As you probably know, CGS only offers those for the XL.  I'm assuming they figger the cavity of the large is too small for that method to be effective.   ?

The potato thing, though . . . I'm all over it - complete with Tjcoley's cheese & bacon.  (Well . . . If not bacon, chopped chives . . . or garlic.  Aw, screw it. Bacon it is.)

    Enjoy the weekend!

Great looking meal!   I think that might be the first pic i have seen of the firebox dividers in action. I like that set up.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
